Pride Toronto is no longer accepting Parade Registration for the 2020 Festival. Thank you for your interest!

From the corner of Church St and Bloor St all the way down Yonge St, tell your stories to a crowd of almost 2 million festival-goers with many more watching at home. Pride Toronto expects everyone to behave with openness, respect, and support. The Pride Parade about celebrating diversity and the variety of life in Toronto while respecting differences amongst its citizens and visitors through creating an inclusive experience for all.

Parade Participant Categories

Pride Toronto’s Pride Parade is broken up into five categories. Prospective participants should familiarize themselves with the categories, below, and register themselves for the one that most closely matches their needs. Community Groups

This category is reserved for community groups who do not have a non-profit or charity registration number.

Charity / Non-Profit / Small Union

This permit covers registered charities and non-profits; Canadian government departments and organizations; political groups and organizations; student groups; and unions with a membership under 25,000 members. If you are a Consulate office, Board of Trade, Tourist Board representing international countries, as well as tourism companies – please contact [email protected] before completing an online application form.

Large Unions / Political Parties

This category is for unions with a membership greater than 25,000 members.

Small Commercial Entry

This category covers for-profit enterprises with 2 or fewer retail outlets, physical shops, or franchises, within Canada only.

Large Commercial Entry

This category is for businesses with more than 2 franchises or outlets, or for businesses with a presence outside of Canada. This permit covers all marching, vehicle, and sampling permits.

Permit Details

Marching Permit

This permit if for Participants wishing to complete the parade route without any vehicle or sampling.

(Maximum amount of marchers: 100)

Sampling Permit

This permit is for Participants wishing to complete the parade route without a vehicle. This Permit allows Participants to hand out pre-approved sampling materials.

(Maximum amount of marchers: 100)

Vehicle Permit

This permit is for Participants wishing to complete the parade route with sampling, a marching contingent and one vehicle*.

Regular Registration

Jan 16 - Apr 14

Community Group

Reserved for community groups who do not have a non-profit or charity registration number.

Charity / Non-Profit / Small Union

Registered charities, nonprofits, government departments, organizations, political groups, organizations (NI political parties); student groups; unions with a membership under 25,000.

Large Unions / Political Parties

Unions with a membership greater than 25,000. Federally/Provincially registered political party.

Small Commercial Entry

For-profit enterprises with two or fewer retail outlets, physical shops, or franchises, within Canada only.

Large Commercial Entry

For-profit enterprises with more than two franchises/outlets, or for businesses with a presence outside of Canada.
