Natalie Nox
Natalie Nox is a Mexican-Canadian music producer, DJ, songwriter, and multi-instrumentalist based in Toronto. Her music blends elements of traditional folkloric Mexican music with percussive latin tech house.
After immigrating to Canada as an LGBTQI political refugee, Natalie established herself as a performer in Toronto’s underground music scene. Her debut track ‘Alma Mia’ was released in 2023 by British powerhouse Toolroom Records, receiving support from Hugel, Crusy, Yolanda B Cool, Mark Knight, Nausica, Sydney Blu and Nakadia.
A fierce activist for gender equity and the rights of LGBTQI people, Natalie is not only leaving her mark on the dance floor but also making a positive impact offstage; having worked exhaustively in shaping LGBTQI policy in Mexico, and as a member of ‘Change the Beat’, a non-profit organization dedicated to fostering inclusivity in electronic music, hosting remix contests for women and gender non-conforming music producers, that has been instrumental in signing over 50 women and non binary artists to major labels like Toolroom, Anjunadeep, mau5trap, Drumcode and more.
Natalie’s uncompromised passion for her roots seeks to weave a tapestry of cultural influences through music that resonates across borders, genres and GENDERS, proudly showcasing traditional Huasteca culture with the world.
