Fridaee
Canadian pop-fusion artist Fridaee has been performing in Toronto since the age of 8, devoting her voice to the Toronto Children's Concert Choir & Performing Arts Company (TC3) for over 10-years as a soloist, an alto section leader and member of their African, Contemporary, and Hip Hop dance teams. This opportunity and dedication to the arts resulted in Fridaee touring with TC3 internationally across Canada, England, and the United States. After attending esteemed creative institutions including Rosedale Heights School of the Arts and Ashley Ingram School of Music (AISM), Fridaee surrounded herself with creative inspiration and further enhanced her musical obsession. As her talent and distinct creative energy continued to gain exposure and admiration, she was privileged to perform in the TDSB Martin Luther King Day Concert at Toronto's famous Roy Thomson Hall in 2010 and 2012. After 2-years of teaching and training at AISM, Fridaee's fruitful musical career began to blossom. Fridaee performed alongside EDM-crossover band Sound Empijah while creatively carving out her distinct sound with various producers, eager to leave an impact on the local music industry.
After studying Event Planning at George Brown College and surviving the hurdles of being a female artist, Fridaee became passionate about reducing the stress and uncertainty regularly experienced by independent artists, leading to the creation of Wanderlust–and eventually–Tripsicle. With a bold dream of taking over and redefining the music industry, Fridaee's contagious, electrifying sound full of range and personality always promises a show-stopping performance, and her future is bound to be increasingly colourful and energetic— an adventure that will not be forgotten.
