The ON-FOOT Toronto "Gaybourhood" Music Tour is a self-guided walking tour offered within the ON-FOOT Mobile App. Written by Denise Benson—acclaimed DJ, music journalist and author of Then & Now: Toronto Nightlife History—and directed by Garvia Bailey, formerly of JazzFM and the CBC, the tour will showcase some of the city’s most iconic 2SLGBTQ music venues and landmarks of past and present. These stories will be told through a podcast-style immersive experience that blends compelling audio narration with songs, archival images, concert memorabilia, and other artifacts, transporting users to key moments in the city’s rich 2SLGBTQ music history.
Your host Sydanie steps into the studio with some of Toronto’s hottest collectives. Learn their back story in an interview style show followed by a performance where they show you what they do best.

She is best known for her play turned television series Da Kink in My Hair. She most recently published the book Black Girl In Love (with Herself). A self help book to guide women to living their best damn lives. Trey is currently a Development Producer for CTV/Bell Media. And is a contributing writer for Huffington Post and a writer in residency at Soul Pepper Theatre.
