Calling all West-End Queers! The Poetry Brothel Toronto invites you to think happy thoughts and take flight on Pride-Parade Eve, June 28th, for an evening of entertainment, wit, and dancing. Join PBTo and a stacked lineup of poets, burlesque performers, storytellers, and more at the Super Wonder Gallery for our Neverland Cabaret!

The team of performers, creators, and magic makers that brought you Gay Prom!, A Midsummer Night’s Masquerade, The Roaring Juice Shack, The Solstice Cabaret, Villainous, Studio 54, and, most recently, brought you to Wonderland, invites you to embrace your inner child and spend a dazzling night in Neverland.

Second star to the right and zigzag until morning with our fully immersive cabaret, replete with curated elements certain to entice and titillate all your senses. Live music, tasty treats, thrilling burlesque acts, and costumed poets… Neverland will be a night like no other.

PBTo’s immersive cabarets invite audiences and performers alike to dress to theme and spend an evening filled with revelry and whimsy. Soar into the immersive world we curated for Pride 2025, and let us whisk you, your friends – and your lovers – out of the doldrum of adulthood and into our playful and inclusive world of wonder, whimsy, and wit! Come as a sexy pirate, Captain Hook, a mermaid, fairy, or Lost Boy. Or maybe you want to dress cozy, and like the Darlings come in striped pjs, a gauzy nightgown, or carry your teddy bear to the show. Maybe you’ll embody Pan’s shadow itself! Creative Costumes, at our shows, are always encouraged.

Hosted by the effervescent Madame Titania, Queen of the Summer Court, the Cabaret’s lineup is curated to channel the whimsical world of Peter Pan, where all it takes is a little “faith, trust, and pixie dust” to leave the world of heteronormative societal expectations behind. The evening will begin with live music by local cryptid Jess Callaghan, and the show features poetry performances by Fig (Karyn Inder), Pezo the Poet, and Silvanus of the Wild (Ryan Thompson). With variety acts like Burlesque by Ms Syn Discretion, dandy rock duo The Roncy Boys (Christian Aldo and Colin Edgely), storytelling by the incomparable GayGrandpa (Dennis Duncan), hot off his full-length show June 20th, and so much more, this show is not to be missed.

Experience the intimacy of private readings with our costumed poets, grab drinks at Super Wonder’s bar, and stay after the show to dance into the wee hours to the fabulous music of DJ Film, whose music never fails to get folks moving.

Doors open at 9pm, and our opening musical act will begin promptly at 9:45pm. The Cabaret begins at 10pm with a raunchy musical number and is followed by a full lineup of poets, burlesque, and storytelling. We will conclude with a dance party that goes into the wee hours!
