The Women’s Art Association of Canada (WAAC) is celebrating Pride by hosting a vibrant juried, open call art exhibition that uplifts and honours the 2SLGBTQI+ community through art, storytelling, and shared history entitled Uptown Pride. It will take place at the Dignam Gallery (23 Prince Arthur Avenue, Toronto) from Thursday, June 19 to Saturday, July 12, 2025.

Guided by the vision of Pride Toronto—”to create a world in which all people feel safer, valued, celebrated, and included, regardless of how they identify or who they love”. WAAC invites you to submit your work for consideration in this 4th Annual juried group exhibition Uptown Pride.

The exhibition will be juried by Elaine Fleck, owner of The Elaine Fleck Gallery. Ms Fleck has earned a reputation for her great taste and discerning eye.

To kick off the celebration, WAAC will be hosting an opening reception party on Saturday June 21, 2025 that will include live music, food, and refreshments with access to our outdoor terrace weather permitting!

Submissions across a range of disciplines are welcomed, including but not limited to painting, drawing, sculpture, printmaking, photography, installation, and mixed media.
