QUANNA MC Pinklady
QUANNA MC PINKLADY is a Southern-bred, culture-shifting artist, commentator, and creative force whose work bridges the worlds of hip hop, ballroom, and Black femme empowerment. As a pansexual and polyamorous woman, she embraces and celebrates love in all its forms, using her voice to uplift queer communities through sound, movement, and storytelling.
A dedicated member of the international ballroom scene for over 8 years, Quanna serves as a commentator, multi-category walker, and proud House Mother of the Carolinas chapter of The Iconic House of Pinklady—the first Kiki ballroom house ever established. She recently made her debut in the mainstream ballroom scene, continuing her mission of visibility and representation.
Off the floor, she is the founder of CareFreeBlackGirl, a media and events platform that amplifies the voices of trans, cis, non-binary, and queer Black femmes. From producing podcasts to curating national events like the CareFreeBlackGirl Cookout and SXSW showcases, Quanna uses every medium at her disposal to build community and create space for joy, freedom, and expression.
Whether she’s spinning ballroom beats, walking the runway, or rocking the mic, QUANNA MC PINKLADY is a fearless leader who brings power, pride, and purpose to everything she touched
