Brendan D'Souza
Brendan D'Souza hates writing bios, which is a shame because they're constantly doing things that require bio writing. The Toronto based comedian and writers sharply observed investigations of identity, mental health, and relationships, alongside their magnetic stage presence and signature snark has won over audiences all over the country. They've recorded stand-up for JFL Originals, The New Wave of Stand-up, and OUT Tv, opened for Jes Tom and Zach Zimmerman, and were the first non binary contestant and winner on Roast Battle Canada. In 2023 they were selected for "The New Faces of Comedy: Canada" at Just For Laughs in Montreal. Brendan has been featured on 1 Queen 5 Queers for Crave, With A Twist with Deanne Smith, Doomlands for RokuTV, and was the voice of Newt the Gnu for Kelloggs Frosted Flakes (seriously. Look it up.) They are a co-producer of "The Powerbottom Girls" with James O'Hara and Rachel Manson, which was recently selected for LadyFest Toronto, coming to a city near you in 2024. Their debut album "Clever, Hip, and Scary!" released in May of 2023 and is available for streaming everywhere.
