Drag Queen Storytime: Scugog Library

Social isolation is not going stop us from celebrating 2021 Pride! Youth Pride Durham, Toronto Drag Queen Storytime and Durham Children's Aid Society are partnering with all of the local libraries in Durham Region to present Virtual Drag Queen Story Time, featuring Lucy Flawless. Each library will present one story time, hosted as a Facebook Live event on the Toronto Drag Queen Storytime Facebook page.

Andrew Gurza is an award winning Disability Awareness Consultant and the Chief Disability Officer and Co-founder of Handi, a sex toy company that puts pleasure within reach for disabled people. Drew uses he/they pronouns and identifies proudly as disabled. He has spoken all over the world on sex, disability and what it means to be a Queer Cripple. He is also the host of Disability After Dark: The Podcast Shining a Bright Light on Disability Stories.
The show is available on all platforms. Andrew is also the creator of the viral hashtag #DisabledPeopleAreHot.

Rainbow Challah – Baking Class for Families

"Whether you want to learn how to make challah from scratch or infuse more pride into your challah this month, join us for this family-friendly rainbow challah class and demonstration! This interactive class will be led by Pearl Cohen and Lauren Schreiber Sasaki, both weekly challah bakers who love kids, rainbows and Pride all year round!
