Drag Queen Storytime: Brock Library

Social isolation is not going stop us from celebrating 2021 Pride! Youth Pride Durham, Toronto Drag Queen Storytime and Durham Children's Aid Society are partnering with all of the local libraries in Durham Region to present Virtual Drag Queen Story Time, featuring Lucy Flawless. Each library will present one story time, hosted as a Facebook Live event on the Toronto Drag Queen Storytime Facebook page

PinkDot TO 2021: Stop Asian Hate

On Sunday, June 20 at 2 p.m. ACAS is virtually hosting Pinkdot on Sunday, June 20, 2021, at 2 pm on the ACAS Youtube channel via live streaming, and this year will feature #StopAsianHate message to raise awareness within the Asian community and beyond. This event will be hosted by Vong Show and will feature performances, interviews, and various other formats, as well as supportive videos from special guests.

Our Blackness connects us to our past, present and future. Our Blackness is resilience in times of suffering. Our Blackness protects us. Our Blackness is essential. In honour of all the people we’ve lost this year and all those disproportionately affected by COVID-19.
