Route Description:
Trans March Route. Starting at Charles and Church St., The march will head north on Church St then head west along Bloor St. The March then will head south on Yonge St then head east along Carlton St then ending at Allen Gardens
Pride Toronto’s annual Trans March! Beginning as a grassroots march, this event is celebrating all things, Transgender! This event contains 4 distinct parts – a rally, a march, a community fair, and an after-party! The rally is the hour before the march and features speakers and performers who are going to be getting the marchers prepared! The march follows its usual route – North on Church, West on Bloor, south on Younge, East of Carleton, to Allan Gardens. The Community fair features groups and members of the community who will have booths to sell their art as well as raise awareness for different agencies. The after-party features performances and DJs who align with the theme of the event and will create an enjoyable and entertaining space for everyone!
Anyone and everyone are welcome to join. While this event is specifically for Trans folks, allys are welcome to join. When marching and rallying we do ask that allys leave space for folks who identify as Trans to celebrate at the front! At these events, we invite all Trans, 2 Spirit, Nonbinary, Gender non-conforming, Genderqueer, Agender, Bigender, and Gender Fluid folks regardless of sexuality or gender assigned at birth.
