The pride & remembrance run is a 5K run/walk that raises funds for local 2SLGBTQ+ charities. It is the only annual athletic event during Toronto’s Pride Week and is the largest, long-running and most fun prides run in Canada. This year’s event is on Saturday, June 25, 2022.
The pride & remembrance run is an independent, not-for-profit athletic event operated by the Pride and Remembrance Association, and a 100% volunteer Board of Directors. The run promotes and fosters community spirit, goodwill, volunteerism, and sportsmanship in the Canadian 2SLGBTQ+ community.
Founded in 1996, the Pride and Remembrance Association has raised over $2.4 million for local charities that support the 2SLGBTQ+ community. Each year the Pride and Remembrance Association selects community charities that receive 100% of the charitable pledges that are raised.
We remember our past to build on our future. We are community-focused.
The starting point is at Church and Wellesley
