From community centers across the GTA to downtown Toronto street corners, Luminato guides you through the secret gems, hidden treasures, and unexpected places where art and ideas collide to create Toronto’s unique culture.
Walk with Amal Toronto, June 7-11, 2023
Little Amal, a 12-foot-tall puppet of a 10-year-old Syrian refugee, has travelled to 85 cities across Europe and New York City in search of her mother. She will walk across the Greater Toronto Area for five days in June, looking for a home.
In a magical festival of art and hope, she will be welcomed by musicians, dancers, children and elders, civic leaders, community organizers, newcomers, and fellow refugees.
