AIDS Candlelight Vigil

Whether you use your light to honour the millions of lives that have been impacted by HIV/AIDS or celebrate one remarkable person whose story inspires you, we gather in solidarity at Barbara Hall Park to remember the fighters, the advocates, the supporters, the caregivers, the researchers, the ones who have passed away and those who live on in grief’s wake. Our individual experiences with HIV/AIDS are vastly different, but together, we share a story that shapes our community. Take a solemn moment during your Pride festivities to hold the torch high and remember. The theme this year is Taking Care of Each Other, in recognition of all who have supported and helped each other along over the years.

This event is free to attend.
