The Dyke March Team produces the Dyke March, a grassroots event where women and trans* people in LGBTTIQQ2SA* communities take over the streets of Toronto. The Dyke March is not a parade; it is a political demonstration of critical mass, a moment seized to revel in the strength, diversity and passion of LGBTTIQQ2SA* women and trans* people.

Dyke March 20th Anniversary Logo Project
Dyke March Toronto is celebrating our 20th anniversary! Our theme this year reflects on our history, not only as Dyke March, but as a whole glorious Dyke community that has endured our own individual hardships, adversities and triumphs, and has grown to become a vibrant, encompassing and diverse community.
To commemorate our past, and with your help, Dyke March will create a special and unique logo that will become buttons, badges, and pins, distributed at the Dyke March on Saturday, July 2nd, 2016.
So we are asking our Dyke Community to bring forth ideas, concepts and designs – in words, drawings, diagrams, paintings, photographs, or any other medium – of how our 20th Anniversary logo should look to reflect 20 years of our Dyke March Community.
If you’re an artist or designer, send us your designs! If you’re not, give us your written ideas or concepts. We’ll bring the concepts to our next Town Hall on Wednesday April 27th, for the community to select one. As many concepts as possible will also be displayed at the Dyke March Rally and in the March.
Take a few minutes and please share with our Dyke community as we look forward to one of the best Dyke March years yet! Send your thoughts, designs, and concepts to: firstname.lastname@example.org.
