Limber up with Yogapalooza at Pride 2010
On Sunday, July 4, at 12:30 p.m., Torontonians will find inner peace during Pride Toronto's Yogapalooza. Part of the festival's Global Human Rights for Queers program, 5,000 people are expected to join this 60 minute free class of movement, meditation and music at Queen's Park.
"Yogapalooza is more than just a yoga class - it's a celebration of strength through diversity," said Salimah Kassim-Lakha, founder of Yogapalooza and Kundalini Yoga Teacher. "Bring your mats and your friends and get a little ‘bent' in preparation for the 2 p.m. Pride Parade."
Yoga does more than just limber you up - it helps you feel better. Let Yogapalooza's fierce postures inspire you to release your inhibitions. Yogapalooza and its sponsors - 2010 Global Human Rights for Queers: What OUT is About and MyBindi.com and Amara Yoga School - are excited to be part of the inaugural event.
