The Parachute Club
The Parachute Club is known for their socially conscious lyrics and Latin/Caribbean rhythms. They are one of Canada's most critically acclaimed and commercially successful music groups, earning several gold and platinum albums, and collecting Casby and Juno wins in the 1980s. Their hits “Rise Up” and “Love and Compassion” remain radio favourites. Current members include Lorraine Segato (vocals), David Gray (guitar), Billy Bryans (drums), Keir Brownstone (bass), Chendy Leon Jr., Rebecca Campbell and Glenda Del Monte.
