Celebrate Pride at Cherry Bomb's second annual Official Dyke Day After Party! Go deep and feel the love at this sexy two-floor affair on Saturday, July 3, at Revival and The Stone Lounge (783 College St.). Enjoy an amazing lineup of new and established DJs and live performers from T.O. and around the globe.

DJs and event producers Denise Benson and Paula Burrows, a.k.a. Cozmic Cat, co-founded Cherry Bomb in June of 2007. Held monthly, it has become one of Toronto's favourite parties for queer women and their friends.

This year's Dyke Day After Party, titled "Pride: A Deeper Love," will build on Cherry Bomb's sold-out 2009 Pride event. "It's called Pride: A Deeper Love, because it's all about love," Cozmic Cat said. "We want to take things deep because that's our whole mission...to always take things to the next level."

Downstairs in The Stone Lounge, you can enjoy a night of Bollywood, bhangra, and global sounds with British DJ Ritu, the long-time host of a syndicated Asian music show for BBC Radio, as well as Toronto's own Amita, resident DJ of the super-hot Besharam and host of CKLN's Masala Mixx.

Upstairs in Revival, enjoy Lido Pimienta's Latin electronic grooves and soul with Toronto's Pip, as well as rap with Egyptian-born Jazz, an upcoming queer rapper. And dance to all-night, back-to-back sets by Cherry Bomb's dyke DJ team, Benson and Cozmic Cat.

"We play hip hop, reggae, electro, house, funk, U.K. funky...anything that comes up, we drop the whole spectrum," Cozmic Cat said. "We just rock the party!"

Pride: A Deeper Love is an inclusive event for queer women and friends. Expect "lots and lots of wonderful, happy people," Cozmic Cat said. "We're glad that we can do this and keep it integrated, mixed, with trans, straight, allies, gay men, and gay women, with everybody having a great time!"

Limited quantities of $15 advance tickets are available at Glad Day Bookshop (598A Yonge), Soundscapes (572 College), Toronto Women's Bookstore (73 Harbord), and online at Milkaudio.com. Tickets for this licensed, 19+ event are $15 at the door.
