DJ Zahra presents Funk Asia: United and Undefeated

7:00pm - 12:00am

Pride Weekend kicks off with the 10th Anniversary of Funk Asia, an energetic celebration of empowering
feminist talent! Women of Colour have been shaking shit up in Toronto for decades and DJ Zahra has been workin’ it with it her comrades for over 20 years. She hits the stage with an ode to the women who’ve inspired some of the city’s greatest social transformations. Zahra spins our favorite anthems and of course lots of hot and spicy Chutney, Bollywood and Bhangra. She will share the stage with artistic trailblazers, setting the night on fire with rich, raw and incredible talent including d’bi Young, Raging Asian Women, LaBomba, Lengua Latina, LAL, D’lishus, Faith Nolan, CoCo La Crème and Private Joy.
