I am attempting to coordinate a trip with a group of people coming from New York City. None of us have been to Toronto before and would love to hear some suggestions on lodging. We are open to options ranging from hotels to vacation rentals, luxury accommodations to couch surfing.

Since we will not be traveling with a car is there an area that is best to stay which is close to the festivities and the clubs?

Any hotel suggestions?

Is there a website where we might find possible vacation rentals?

Is there a good hostel based in Toronto for the budget travelers?

A couple of friends and I are in the same boat that you seem to be in. We’ve never been to Toronto before, but are hoping to hit a few events during Pride and check out the city.

I’d love to see recommendations for hotels, hostels, or maybe a vacation rental.

I hope someone posts some suggestions here soon! We will have a rental car, since we’re flying into Buffalo, NY and driving up… but rather than staying at some random, reasonably priced chain hotel near an airport, I’d love to find something with a little local character!

There is a hotel name Hotel Howard Johnson where you can find the booking rooms at 62$ with great connecting to all major areas of Toronto.
