Official Pride Week 2008 Events - Application Form

Before you begin, please ensure that you have read the information provided in the Opportunity Guide (PDF: 12MB).

Official Pride Week Events are organized and produced by Pride Toronto's partners. These events may be community based or commercial events. The Official Pride Week Events designation is a way for Pride Toronto to recognize and support activities that embrace the diversity of our community and celebrate the lives of Toronto's Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, Transgender, Transsexual, Intersex, Queer, Questioning and 2Spirited Communities.

All organizations hosting "Official Pride Week Events" will be listed on our official calendar of events in our program guide (Pride Guide), on our website, and all of our press listings.

How many events can I apply for?
Official Pride Week Event designation is valid only for one event. Any organization seeking recognition for multiple events should email us at official-events@pridetoronto.com to negotiate a discounted rate. If you are a community organization and cannot afford the fees and need a special accommodation, please contact us via email.

When will my application be processed?
All applications for Official Events are subject to approval by Pride Toronto. Please note, your application will not be processed until your payment, completed application and all supplementary information is received in full (see Opportunity Guide for additional details). It normally takes two to three weeks to process an application, so please ensure that you have all of your material submitted in time.

Payment
All fees must be paid through a credit card, using the PayPal system integrated into the application form. Please note, your form will not be complete, nor received by us, unless you have paid these fees as part of the application.

If you need a special circumstance exception to be made so that you can pay your fee through a certified cheque, you must contact us at official-events@pridetoronto.com. A separate application form will be emailed or faxed out to you to fill out, and will only be processed up receipt of payment, no exceptions!

Please note that the deadline has passed to have the opportunity to be listed in the Pride Guide. Late applicants for Commercial/Business venture will automatically be charged a non-refundable processing fee of $50, regardless of approval. We cannot guarantee that late applicants will be listed in the Pride Guide; however, approved late applicants will have the opportunity to be listed on the website.
