Affiliate Events are organized and produced by Pride Toronto's partners. These events may be community based or commercial events. The Affiliate Pride Week Events Program is a way for Pride Toronto to recognize and support a variety of events such as literary events, visual arts events, performing arts events, family, youth or cultural events, all ages events, adult only events, musical, comedy and etc that embrace the diversity of our community and celebrate the lives of Toronto's Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, Transgender, Transsexual, Intersex, Queer, Questioning, 2-Spirited and Allies Communities.
All organizations hosting an event that are designated through the Affiliate Pride Week Events Program will be listed in a number of different locations. These include our calendar of events in the Affiliate Pride Guide, on our website, and in all of our press release listings. This is an exceptionally valuable marketing tool for your event.
How many events can I apply for?
Affiliate Events is valid for one event. Any organization seeking recognition for multiple events should email to Affiliate Pride Week Events Coordinator at .(JavaScript must be enabled to view this email address) to negotiate a discounted rate.
If you are a community organization and cannot afford the fee and need a special accommodation, please contact the coordinator at .(JavaScript must be enabled to view this email address).
When will my application be processed?
All applications for Affiliate Pride Week Events Program are subject to approval by Pride Toronto. Please note, your application will be not processed until your payment, completed application requirements and all supplementary information is received in full (see Affiliate Pride Week Events Program Package Guide for additional details). It normally takes two to three weeks to process an application, so please ensure that you have all of your material submitted in time.
Payment
All fees must be paid through a credit card, using the PayPal system integrated into the application form. Please note, your form will be not complete, nor received by us, unless you have paid these fees as part of the application.
Please note that the application deadline is 15 April 2010 for the opportunity to be listed in the Affiliate Pride Guide , website and in all of our press release listings. We cannot guarantee that late applicants will be listed in the Affiliate Pride Guide, and in all of our press release listings; however, approved late applicants will have the opportunity to be listed on our website.
