Including hot musicians, talented poets, cabaret performers and authors, transAction has it all! Writer and performer Nicki Ward is followed by self-described "singer of torch love songs" artist Mackenzie McBride.  Experimental multimedia poet and actor Ryli Skelton will perform. As well, transgendered award-winning author, performance artist, poet and academic S. Bear Bergman will be on hand. Slam poet Kit Yan and songwriter Melissa Li bring the Good Asian Drivers to Toronto for a powerhouse performance.  Closing out the night is Toronto¹s own Nik Redman, an artist, activist and community worker.

This year CMD are proud to introduce TRANSpiration; an hour of inspiring performances by transgendered and transsexual performers of colour. CMD offers and creates safe spaces to encourage and promote solidarity within the community while transcending the boundaries of gender.
