About FCP
Fierté Canada Pride (FCP) is the national association of Canadian Pride organisations. We are a membership-based organisation run by volunteers. The main goal of FCP is to promote gay, lesbian, bisexual, transgendered, transsexual, intersex and two-spirited Prides on a national level.
Fierté Canada Pride est une association nationale des différentes fiertés gaie canadienne. Nous sommes une organisation bénévole. Le but principal de Fierté Canada Pride est de promouvoir les droits des membres de la communauté LGBT à travers le Canada.
Objectives
The objectives of this Conference/AGM are to:
1. Provide resources and support for growing Prides
2. Provide networking and mentoring opportunities for larger Prides
3. Open discourse on the role of FCP
4. Provide strategic direction to FCP

The goal of FCP is to provide high quality presentations on a comprehensive array of topics, serving to achieve the aforementioned objectives. These topics include:
• Effective use of social media for engaging your community
• How to manage a growing organization - transitioning from an all-volunteer workforce
• Grants and Sponsorships 201 (intermediate level)
• Board growth and evolution
• Successful Partnerships (case studies)
• Engaging underrepresented communities (youth, older adults, trans, etc)
• Policies, Procedures & Contracts, Oh My! Critical elements of capacity building that you'd rather not tackle
