Pride Toronto invites you to celebrate with us, and over 1 million people, at this year’s Pride Festival from Friday June 22nd to Sunday June 24th, 2018. As one of the largest Pridefestivals in the world,
Our main events include: The Trans* Pride March on Friday June 22nd. The Dyke March on Saturday June 23rd, the Pride Parade on Sunday June 24th and our Streetfair and Marketplace along Church, Wellesley and Alexander Sts. from June 22nd to June 24th.
This year, Pride Toronto has extended the Streetfair and Marketplace footprint south from Church and Carlton to Church and Dundas. This will add an additional half kilometer to this year’s festival to accommodate our growing attendance numbers. This also means there will be earlier street closures. Church Street between (Hayden St. and Dundas St.) and (Wellesley Street between Yonge St. and Jarvis St). will will be closed to public vehicular traffic on Friday June 22nd at 10:00AM. Wellesley Street between Yonge and Church St. will remain open for local traffic only.
East-west streets severed by the Church St. closure will be designated “two-way” for the duration of the closure. Access will be available to side streets from either Yonge St., Jarvis St. or Mutual St. While vehicular access will be limited, your driveway and garage entrances will not be blocked. Should your garage exit onto Church St., Wellesley St. E., Isabella St. or Alexander St. there will be limited opportunities to exit or enter. Please view the list of road closures stated below. Residents on McGill St., Granby St. and the Lexington Condominiums will be able to access their homes and businesses throughout the festival via a south bound local lane to Gerrard St.
Please Note: There will be no parking during street closures and during these additional times: Wood St. between Church St. & Mutual (beginning 12:01am Friday, June 22); Maitland St. between Church St. & Yonge St. (beginning 12:01 am Thursday, June 21); and Isabella St. (beginning 6:00 am Friday, June 22)
