Event Logistics Assistant - Site

Description of work tasks and responsibilities:

Will be an assistant to the Event Logistics Manager (ELM) and will assist all the committees working with the ELM. During the Festival will be the on-site contact for Pride Toronto’s two major stages; Will act as the point person for various Festival committees; Will be the on-site contact with our various suppliers and equipment providers including electrical power; staging; production; portable washrooms, and garbage removal. Will work with the ELM and assist with the overall festival area layout; During the Festival will assist in monitoring of equipment delivery and supplies making sure they arrive on time and that the orders are correct as well as coordinating all load out and clean up services. Post Festival will assist with paperwork; accounts payable reconciliation; and updating efile records.

Description of supervision:

Supervisor will be the Event Logistics Manager. Shadowing of this position will act as part of the mentoring program.
