Wow. Did someone steal the other half of April? It's May already and that means Pride Week is only a few weeks away. While some of you many already be familiar with some of our social media pages, we're also happy to announce this here blog which we'll be using to keep you informed about what people are saying about Pride online, posting relevant news links, featuring some of the *many* artists performing at this year's week-long event and letting you know about the tireless efforts of the hundreds of volunteers that make Pride happen (along with how you TOO can get involved).

As this is the first post we should probably provide some links to our many social media pages so you can 'follow', 'subscribe' and 'join'.

Our Youtube page will be featuring videos from past Prides and video playlists of some of the artists performing at Pride Week 2009. We'll also be searching out and highlighting some of the incredibly moving user-generated videos by members of the LGBTTIQ2S communities that have courageously posted their personal stories for others up on the site. We've also got a Myspace page that we'll be posting some pics and other content to.

On Facebook we have both a Group (must be logged in - or search on Facebook for "Pride Toronto") and a Page (no need to be one Facebook to access). As we get closer to Pride Week expect more frequent messages to the Group and if you prefer hearing the news in your Facebook feed you can join our Page.

Speaking of newsfeeds, we've also joined the conversation on Twitter.
