Come celebrate the launch of G101.ca, the first secure gay social networking site, with cupcakes, dancing and cocktails (pun intended?). We’ll be dancing the night away, with a cupcake in one hand and a cosmo in the other, and we expect you to be there (yes, you!). So come for the delicious food, stay for the hat jams and hopefully leave because of a boy. But don’t worry- at G101.ca, we’re good at keeping secrets.

Opening Reception: YASHODHARA - A FORGOTTEN PRINCESS

Sunday, June 22 - Monday, June 23, 2008
7pm – 11pm
Gladstone Hotel – 2nd Floor
1214 Queen Street West

The series of paintings are inspired by Princess Yashodhara 506 BC. The exhibition is a tale of grief and tragedy of awakening, of joy and contentment. Within his art, Samuel focuses on the use of erotic and spiritual playfulness to create a sense of sacred. Samuel is inspired by two of India's most traditional techniques - kalamnakari and madhubani.
