Family Pride fearlessly returned with a rich and exciting line-up of events on Saturday and Sunday of Pride Week.

Proudly supported by the Procter & Gamble, Family Pride is an oasis and a destination for families of all kinds. The Saturday and Sunday of Pride Week, Family Pride sets up camp on the grounds of the Church Street Junior Public School (South east corner of Church Street and Alexander Street) offering inclusive, family-friendly activities and events. From crafts and games, to face painting and live children's entertainment, there are all kinds of fun for the entire family. Activity hours for both days are from 11:00 am to 6:00 pm.

Weekend highlights:

  • Annual Picnic presented by the LGBT parenting network on Saturday, June 23th
  • Family Brunch presented by the 519's Queer parenting Programmes on Sunday, June 25th
  • Musical performances by Sho.Mo & the Monkey Brunch and the return of Samba Squad
  • Take a ride on the VIA Rail Mini Express Train!
  • Hop around in our bouncy castle!
  • Lean to sign with your child at a workshop by WeeHands.
  • Dance and learn the joy of movement with FitGroove Inc.
  • Come and meet the Care Bears and Pocoyo - for his first appearance in Toronto!
  • Story- Time sponsored by Nickname Press, featuring author Heather Jopling
  • Get soaking wet at our popular Family Pride H2O zone (don't forget your towel)!
